Veterinary Scientist with experience in livestock parasitology and diagnostics. Post graduate qualifications in molecular diagnostic methods, assay validation and epidemiology. Current roles involve design, conduct, supervision and reporting of clinical and laboratory research trials in companion animals to GCP and GLP. Dr Shirli Notcovich, Business Unit Leader, Estendart Research Centre
Veterinarian, MPhil Veterinary Sciences (Massey University, NZ)
Shirli is an enthusiastic veterinary researcher with a background in cattle health. Through the last 15 years, Shirli has been working for both Clinical Research Organizations (CROs) and Fundamental Research Organizations. Originally from Argentina where she trained and practiced as a veterinarian, Shirli obtained her Masters’ and Ph.D. degrees in Veterinary Science at Massey University in New Zealand. Since 2020 Shirli has also been a GLP and GCP Study Director/Investigator in multiple projects including multi-site studies, target animal safety, pharmacokinetics, efficacy, toxicology, residues, vaccine batch testing, etc. She has vast experience in product development for both animal and human health projects helping pharmaceutical companies reaching their registration goals.

Previous experience in mixed veterinary practice, government practice and University teaching practice. Post graduate qualifications in farm animal production, disease, management and economics, epidemiology, statistics and parasitology. Very extensive experience in the design, conduct, supervision and reporting of clinical research trials in production animals and horses to GCP and GLP. Extensive experience in the development and provision of educational material and courses to farmers, undergraduates and industry bodies (including the APVMA and animal health industry). Particular interests in statistics, trial design and data analysis. Extensive experience in scientific paper preparation and evaluation. Farming interests including prime lambs and beef cattle.
